Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Physician Assistant role located in Bay City, MI. The Physician Assistant will provide direct patient care for pediatric patients, including conducting histories and physical exams, diagnosing common conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, and developing treatment plans under physician supervision. Daily responsibilities include administering vaccines, performing minor procedures as appropriate, providing patient and family education, and documenting all encounters in the medical record with accuracy and timeliness. The role also involves coordinating care with physicians and clinical staff, supporting follow-up care, and participating in quality improvement and practice workflow initiatives to ensure safe, efficient, and family-centered care. Qualifications Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C) and eligibility for or active Michigan state licensure. Clinical experience or strong interest in pediatrics, including assessment and management of common pediatric conditions. Proficiency in patient evaluation, diagnostic decision-making, and evidence-based treatment planning. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for working with children, families, and multidisciplinary care teams. Ability to document clearly and efficiently in electronic health records and follow clinical protocols and regulatory standards. Commitment to patient safety, infection control practices, and high-quality, family-centered care. Collaborative, flexible approach with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage a steady clinical workload. Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program; experience in outpatient pediatrics or primary care is preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr
